KINDERGARTEN Our goal as a nursery school:

The kindergarten is the environment where the child learns how to think and investigate in a dynamic framework of trust and constant fun.

We offer a specially conceived environment with affective and intellectual stimuli, with the support of our bilingual kindergarten teachers, in a privileged setting and in constant interaction with nature, which provides the child with unique experiences.

OUR GOALS:
• Our Bilingual Project having been approved, we make the most of the opportunity to speak English most of the school day, thus stimulating the students to ‘think’ in the target language, with no need to translate.
• To use games as the main strategy, taking into account their importance in early childhood.
• To promote the stimulation of the different fields of knowledge and the emotional development of each child by means of our daily activities.
• To foster self-esteem by working creatively with prosocial behaviours and by encouraging appropriate conflict-resolution.
• To attain a good value education that will enable students to behave ethically in life.
For the group teacher and the educational psychologist to work together monitoring group and individual performance in order to be able to act upon difficulties detected on time.

BILINGUALISM
The philosophy behind our project is reflected in a bilingual constructivist approach that takes into account the development of the capacity to communicate progressively and spontaneously with pleasure in both languages from K2 onwards. As a result, K5 children are uninhibited and fluent English speakers and continue to consolidate their command of the language in Junior and Senior School.
